The v-shaped area (called cupids) of the upper lip begins to flatten out and our lips lose their youthful fullness. Vertical lines can also begin to appear, which is what causes lipstick bleed.

Lip enhancement involves injecting dermal fillers into parts of the lip and surrounding lip areas.

This treatment is used to enhance and rejuvenate both the body and border of the lips. It can be used to create extra volume while maintaining a natural look and feel to the lip body. Lip enhancement can increase the definition of the lip border, reducing upper lip lines, restore a more youthful and upturned angle to the corners of the mouth, and create a stronger cupid’s bow.

Volume loss of the lips occurs naturally with time and is accelerated by exposure to sun and environmental toxins therefore replacing lost volume can result in more youthful looking lips.
