Dr John Goldston

DIRECTOR

Dr John Goldston has been working in the field of cosmetic medicine since 1985. His interest in skin management and skin cancer management is lifelong with 30 years experience and a wonderful reputation. Mackay Skin Clinic is the longest established Clinic in the Mackay Region. Dr John Goldston is a member of the Australian College of Cosmetic Physicians and a Registered Specialist General Practitioner, majoring in skin cancer management. He has pioneered many of the techniques introduced into the Mackay and Whitsunday Region with his cosmetic treatments.

Karen Blanchfield

Product and Treatment Consultant

Karen is a trained consultant and specialises in facial treatments. Since joining the team she has developed an outstanding understanding in the importance of looking after your skin and has a passion for delivering a high quality of service and treatments to our clients. Her extensive training in facial treatments, and experience and knowledge of the Visia Skin Analysis is an added quality to the Clinic.  Her experience and understanding has helped develop an outstanding reputation of the Clinic in the region. 

Karen is always keen to advise and assist our clients in choosing the right skin care products and Youngblood mineral products so that they can feel good about themselves.

Tegan Birkin - RN

Cosmetic Injector / Aesthetician and IPL Technician

Tegan is a Registered Nurse (RN) experienced in Cosmetic Medicine.  Since joining the team, Tegan has successfully completed specialised training as a cosmetic nurse injector and aesthetician in all the latest techniques for the use of dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections. She is also a fully trained IPL technician – using Intense Pulse Light in rejuvenation treatments and hair removal.

Tegan understands cosmetic skin concerns and how to treat them.  She enjoys helping you achieve confidence with how you look and feel and stays current with cosmetic skin advice, skin products and treatments that are on offer including the Herbal Aktiv Peel. She has also extended herself and participated in the application of Youngblood mineral makeup to achieve your skins potential. Tegan will ensure all possible rejuvenation options are discussed and a comprehensive treatment plan developed.
